There are three types of bans I, as admin, can do.
1- Username ban. Bans a username.
2- Email ban. Bans email.
3- IP ban. Bans IP address. Meaning that you can never get back on.
If you are banned from the site, I will only ban the email and the username, never the IP.
There are reasons for which I may ban an IP. These include but aren't limited to..

- Ban hopping. Creating a new account under a different email if you are banned.
- Suspicious activity from guests. This includes continuous lurking. If you come here daily without an account, that's reason to suspect stalking/other suspicious behavior.
